I know I haven't written in a long time, however I've been preparing for the job that I am going to get. Yeah I'm looking for work outside of the home but I can only work evenings, and weekends. I have nervous excitement about the job. I know it will save me from babysitting which is the whole point of this thing. But I've been in mom land now full time since Avery was two and a half. She's now seven and a half. I'm out of the loop to say the least.
I had a job interview yesterday at the Casino Regina and everything went well. But in the interview I felt like laughing, " C'mon are you serious? These are the questions to which the answers are going to indicate whether I am a complete idiot or not?" Ah yes, mom land has made me a little cynical, I think. I do want the job, however I think I'm more nervous than they are about being a total idiot.
Today is our last day of summer holidays. Tomorrow Avery start grade three! Sob! Sob! I was trying to convince Avery's grade two teacher that she should recommend Avery not go into grade three and would be better suited at home with her mom for life. She and Avery didn't agree. Avery's very smart and ready to move on. Damn it!
Jeff's in Calgary working on a thing in some plant and the thing he's working on is going to Iceland. What he's doing is way more involved than my description but I don't have a clue so if you really want to know you'll have to ask him. He may have a chance to accompany the thing to Iceland and if so hopefully I will get to accompany him.... Keep you posted.
Children are waking and my first an most important job needs me!
