Are we done yet?

Okay, so we have a beautiful deck and an enormous fence. Great! Now we have to stain it all , every other year, yuck. We put in four hours yesterday and we got the railing and pergola done. Yep, four hours. Only the entire deck floor and 48 panels to go! Please pray for good weather. My arms and legs look like I have jaundice in strange and random spots, and my hair? Well I can cancel my appointment to get it colored this week. I'm sporting a new trendy shade of Cheerful Morn deck stain in various spots all over my head!

Limbo

I'm feeling scared alot lately. Of what, you ask? Everything, life! We are in limbo right now and I hate it. We just don't know what's going to happen next. I want to go back to school and reduce my hours at work. Jeff's at a new job that has yet to engage him. I fear all my kids will remember of me is that "Mom was tired" or "Mom was at work". Let this be a lesson to all little ones mentioned in former posts...."Stay in School!". Don't put it off! The longer you do, the harder it is. I fear that family suppers of homemade chicken drumsticks are about to become a rarity around here for a while. Aren't they awesome?

Got a great hair cut today and shaved my legs for the first time in, well a very long time! It's amazing how much hair removal can do for your femininity. Then I walked over to the Great Canadian Bagel to buy more cream cheese after discovering that the stuff I bought last week was already expired. After explaining this to the guy behind the counter, he gave me two for free! I know it's only cheese but Damn, that's sweet! Off to hip hop for the girls, too cute!

I Dunno!

Okay, I'm going to try this thing one last time. What's new with us? Alot! Jeff got a new job, no more out of town! Avery's in grade five. EEEEK, sex ed! Emma's in grade one! Another reader has been born! Reece is in the big kid class at preschool and loves it. Me? Well I'm full time at the most exciting place on earth.....Casino Regina! Well, maybe not the most exciting, but entertaining for sure. Take from that what you wish. After a few posts you will know what I mean. January means part time classes for me. Can't wait! I wish I was in school full time now, however the budget that came down this year for this house, sucked! I am the new Playground Committee Head at the girl's school. Which means, fundraising, fundraising oh and I almost forgot more fundraising! Anyone know of a corporate sponsor that needs a write off? Let me know, I'll take money from anyone!

I still have five beautiful nephews, and one darling niece. Julian is six, Jackson is three and Keaton and Kade are now one. Brandie and Jason are busy to say the least. Boh is now two and has accepted his new role of big brother to his beautiful little sister Zyma. They're both cutie's and for more info on their busy lives you can check out The Wild Rumpus. Their mom is a blogger extraordinaire and the one that got me on to this craziness.

We are going to Mexico in January and this marks the first vacation away from the kids ever. Am I worried about leaving my little darlings for a whole week? Nope! Bon Voyage! Avery's ripped right off that she can't come. Too bad baby cakes, you've been priority numero uno for how long? Oh yeah, TEN YEARS!!!!! Back off! Mama needs a break.

Jeff's job a Sask Power brings security and normalcy to our lives. Not sure what that is, but we'll figure it out.

Everyone pray for more good weather. We have 47 eight foot by six foot cedar fence panels to stain and a whole deck. Yuck!

Today is a haircut with a new hairdresser. This is always scary.
